Vintage Motorcycle Fork
Upgrade
The first product resulting from Cosentino
Engineering’s race development program is a cartridge damping upgrade kit for
Norton Commando Roadholder and post ‘73 Triumph T140 and T150, and Ceriani roadrace forks.
The Upgrade kit replaces the stock damping assembly and
springs with a modern Showa unit incorporating adjustable compression and
rebound damping circuits and a custom internal single rate spring with
adjustable preload. To comply with the
rules of most US vintage racing organizations (
AHRMA,
WERA,
USCRA) all
adjustments are hidden from view, but easily accessed. For the discerning classic street rider,
there will be no evidence of the kit other than a new alloy fork cap.
3
different spring rates are available:
· 30 lb/in for normal street riding
· 40 lb/in for lightweight racebikes and 2 up streetbikes
· 45 lb/in for 600+cc racebikes
There
are various fork cap designs available to compliment street, race, and show
machines. Please specify desired
version when ordering.
Pricing
is $795.00 per set and includes all components and
Redline fork oil needed for complete retrofit. Springs are choice of 30, 40, or 45 lb/in
rates.
For users who wish to retain an external spring setup a
version is available without springs and related mounting hardware for
$695.00 Please note: this version does
not provide spring preload adjustability.
