As with all projects at Cosentino Engineering, the Rotacular began with a clean sheet CAD design.  Intensive research into the equations determining motorcycle dynamic behavior generated a skeleton over which to place the components of the vehicle

Once the determining behavior of the vehicle was specified, the task became to package all the necessary components into a compact, mass-centralized design.  The complexity of a project such as this cannot be underestimated.  Many issues, including safety of the rider at speeds in excess of 150mph, needed to be thoroughly ensured.  Various test fixtures were designed and fabricated to validate subassemblies of the overall design before being finalized.

The unusual designs of the front and rear suspensions is a conscious effort to precisely control the various forces involved in single track vehicle dynamics.
